In 2026, the automobile wiring harness market is expected to grow to US $57.4 billion

According to a report released by Markets and Markets, the global automotive wiring harness market demand is expected to reach $47 billion in 2021 and grow to $57.4 billion by 2026.

The chassis harnesses market is expected to be the largest segment because of the increasing demand for frame, air brake pump, suspension systems which are parts of  chassis .

It is projected that, thanks to the advantage of the world's largest automobile manufacturing market, China will be the strongest player in Asia Pacific automotive wiring harness market with a high-speed growth rate in the next few years. 

Meanwhile, more and more China manufacturers are starting to turn their eyes on lightweight materials to make wire harness  such as aluminum. So far, aluminum accounts for a small share in the market of wiring harness raw material. 

However, Yamazaki, Sumitomo , Koha Denko, Aptiv and Leoni remain the major players in the automotive wiring harness market.
