Entering April, due to the raw material's price rising and the impact of the COVID-19, five companies including NIO, TESLA, ARCFOX, Chery New Energy and ZEEKR have successively raised the prices of their new energy vehicles, ranging from a few thousand yuan to tens of thousands yuan. The phenomenon of general rise in the industry is intensifying.

"It is by no means accidental", such as the price increasing of new energy vehicles.

Since March, due to the impact of the COVID-19, the automobile supply chains in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jilin and other citys have been shut down one after another. Meanwhile, the products controlled by the epidemic may not be able to be shipped out of the factory, causing many car companies to press the "pause button".

For the above reasons, on April 1st, SAIC Volkswagen announced the suspension of production at its Shanghai plant. On March 14th, FAW-Volkswagen Changchun plant stopped production. Following the two-day shutdown on March 16th and 17th, on March 28th, Tesla once again announced the shutdown of the Shanghai Gigafactory, which has been suspended for 17 days as of April 11st.

In addition, the "Securities Daily" reporter learned that due to the impact of the epidemic, Tesla's delivery cycle has been extended by about 4 weeks. Buick, Chevrolet, NIO, Roewe, SAIC Volkswagen, Cadillac and other brands, their delivery cycles will also be extended to varying degrees.
